Crisalix 3D simulation
What “see it in 3D” actually means
At your free consult we photograph you on a 3D imaging system and your surgeon shapes the proposed result on the model, in front of you. You rotate it, you see the profile, you say no to anything you do not like. Nothing is scheduled that day.
Book with a named surgeon, not a call center

“I would rather talk you out of an operation than do one you will regret. At your consult I draw on you, show you the 3D, and tell you plainly what I will not do.”
Book with Dr. Careaga“The 3D scan is what sold me. I saw three sizes on my own body and picked the one that looked like me, not like someone else.”
“I came in for implants and he told me I needed a lift instead. He was right. I trust a surgeon who talks me out of things.”

Questions about breast
How much does it hurt, and what will I be given for it?+
You are asleep under general anesthesia with a board-certified anesthesiologist. The first 48 hours feel like heavy pressure across the chest, more so if the implant sits under the muscle. You leave with a written pain plan and most patients step down to ordinary painkillers between day three and day five.
Silicone or saline — which should I choose?+
Most of our patients choose silicone for how it feels and moves, especially with thinner tissue coverage. Saline remains a reasonable option and is adjusted through a smaller incision. Both are FDA approved. You will hold both at the consultation before deciding.
How do I know what size to pick?+
You do not pick from a catalogue. We scan you with Crisalix 3D and place candidate implants on your own body so you see the result from every angle, then confirm with sizers in a fitted bra. That step is included at no cost.
Do I need a lift as well as implants?+
It depends on where your nipple sits relative to the fold under your breast, not on volume. An implant alone on a breast that has descended makes it look larger, not lifted. Dr. Careaga will show you this measurement on your own exam.
Can I breastfeed after breast surgery?+
Many patients can, and incisions are chosen with that in mind when you tell us it matters. No surgeon can promise it — some people cannot breastfeed regardless of surgery. Raise it at the consultation and it will change how the operation is planned.
How long do implants last?+
Implants are not lifetime devices. Plan on the possibility of a revision at some point, and know that a manufacturer warranty covers rupture. Nothing about that is unusual or hidden.
What does the quote include?+
Surgeon fee, anesthesia, implants, our own JCAHO accredited operating room, garments and all routine post-operative visits. Financing runs through CareCredit and Alphaeon.
