Straight answers before you book
A lift moves position. An implant adds volume.
These are two different problems and confusing them is the most common reason a patient is unhappy. If your breast has descended, an implant alone makes it larger, not higher. If you have lost upper fullness as well, you may need both.
Scars are the trade, and you should see them first
Every lift pattern leaves a scar; the question is how much lift you need and where the scar sits. You will see real, unretouched scar photographs at different stages of healing before you book — not renderings.
With or without implants
A lift alone restores shape and position using your own tissue. Adding an implant restores upper fullness a lift cannot create. Which you need is decided at the exam, and plenty of patients are advised to skip the implant.

Book with a named surgeon, not a call center

“I would rather talk you out of an operation than do one you will regret. At your consult I draw on you, show you the 3D, and tell you plainly what I will not do.”
Book with Dr. Careaga“The 3D scan is what sold me. I saw three sizes on my own body and picked the one that looked like me, not like someone else.”
“I came in for implants and he told me I needed a lift instead. He was right. I trust a surgeon who talks me out of things.”

Questions about breast lift in miami
How much does it hurt, and what will I be given for it?+
You are asleep under general anesthesia with a board-certified anesthesiologist. A lift without implants is generally more comfortable than an augmentation — tightness rather than pressure. You leave with a written pain plan.
How bad are the scars, honestly?+
They are permanent and they are the trade for position. They start pink and firm, then flatten and fade over about a year. You will see unretouched photographs at several healing stages before you decide.
Will I lose volume?+
A lift reshapes rather than removes, but breasts often look slightly smaller because the tissue is now higher and tighter. If upper fullness matters to you, that is the conversation about adding an implant.
Can I breastfeed after a lift?+
Many patients can. The nipple stays attached to its blood and duct supply in standard techniques. No surgeon can promise it — tell us if it matters and it changes the plan.
How long does a lift last?+
Gravity, weight change and pregnancy keep working. Most patients hold their result for many years; significant weight change or a pregnancy is what most often undoes it.
