Why “360” and not spot liposuction
Treating only the front leaves the back and flanks untouched, and the eye reads that mismatch as an unnatural shape. Circumferential means the torso is treated as one surface, so the waist actually narrows instead of just flattening.
What liposuction does not do
It removes fat, not skin. If your skin has lost its snap after pregnancy or weight loss, liposuction alone can leave it looser. Dr. Careaga will tell you at the consult if skin removal or a tightening device belongs in your plan.

How much does it hurt, and what will I be given for it?+
You are asleep under general anesthesia with a board-certified anesthesiologist. The first two or three days feel like a deep muscle bruise rather than sharp pain. You leave with a written pain plan and most patients are off the strong medication within the first week.
Will the fat come back somewhere else?+
The fat cells removed do not return. If you gain significant weight afterwards, the remaining cells everywhere on your body enlarge, so the result changes. A stable weight is what protects it.
How long do I wear the garment?+
Continuously for the first two to three weeks, then during the day for several more. It controls swelling and helps the skin settle onto the new contour — it is part of the result, not an accessory.
Can Lipo 360 be combined with a tummy tuck or BBL?+
Frequently, and it is often the better decision — one anesthesia, one recovery. The limit is total operating time and your medical history, and Dr. Careaga sets it at your consultation.
When can I fly?+
Usually after two weeks, with clearance at your post-op visit. Out-of-town patients are asked to stay locally through that first check.
